I’m excited to be part of the Denny Dolphins community as the Reading Interventionist! I work with students, families, and teachers to support reading growth and help every student build confidence as a reader. With nearly twenty years of experience in education, I’ve taught in a variety of settings, including multilingual classrooms and Title I schools, and I’m passionate about creating engaging, student-centered learning environments.

At Denny, I focus on foundational reading skills, small-group interventions, and collaborating with teachers to ensure students have the tools they need to succeed. I love helping middle schoolers discover the joy of reading and supporting them as they develop strategies to tackle challenging texts.

When I’m not at school, I enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest, spending time with my family, and growing my ever-changing garden. Go Dolphins! 🐬
