New Scholar and Family Orientation, Aug 28th
Evening Orientation, Thursday, August 28th (6:30 – 8:00 pm), for scholars and parents/guardians who are new to Denny International (all grade levels).  Learn more about our school, pick up your schedule and meet staff.  I hope you can join us for this important meeting and for ice cream that will be served after the orientation ends.

6th Graders Only on Sept 3rd for all-day Orientation
Other details pertaining to the first sixth-grade day:
    • If your scholar is not taking the bus, please have her/him arrive between 7:20 -7:45 am.
    • Upon arrival at school, all sixth-graders should report to their “Homeroom” or first period class.  Homeroom class assignments will be available at the new scholar orientation on Aug. 28 or on the first day of school.  Denny staff members will be available in the hallways to welcome scholars and to help them find their Homeroom classes.  On the first day of school, in Homeroom, scholars will receive their full schedules and go on a tour to make sure they know where all of their classes will be held.
    • Once the scholars are in class, interested parents/guardians are invited to an optional orientation meeting in the Galleria (cafeteria) at 7:55 am.
    • School is dismissed at 2:20 and busses will leave by 2:30.

7th & 8th Graders Start Sept. 4th
The first day of school for the seventh- and eighth-grade scholars is September 4th, 2014 (second day for sixth-graders).
