Dear Denny families, staff, and students:
I have accepted an offer to be the next Principal at Cleveland High School. I will leave Denny at the end of the 2022-23 school year.
The decision to transition was difficult. It was an honor to serve as acting principal this year and I am thankful for the warm, gracious reception from the Denny community. Denny is an exceptional school of outstanding educators and immeasurably gifted scholars. I am grateful to have supported the inspiring work happening here each day, and proud of all that we learned together.
I am confident that Denny will continue to thrive because its community partners, caring educators, and supportive families are fully committed to the academic excellence and maturation of all students. I will do everything I can to ensure a smooth transition of leadership and prepare the next school leader to serve the community well. Principal Jeff Clark remains on leave, and the district will provide an update about next year as soon as possible.
Thank you for the opportunity to be part of this journey. I will continue to root for Denny’s ongoing success from afar.
