    Wednesday, Feb .12, PTSA Meeting in High Point at Neighborhood House6400 Sylvan Way SW, food served at 6:30pm, meeting from 7:00 – 8:00pm.

    In addition to our morning celebration of National African American Parent Involvement Day today, we have an evening event planned on Friday, Feb. 28, from 6:00-8:00pm.

    PTSA Announcement: We hope that you can join us for our PTSA meeting this Wednesday in High Point at Neighborhood House, 6400 Sylvan Way SW, food served at 6:30pm, meeting from 7:00 – 8:00pm.  We are looking forward to getting ideas from you, talking about prayer at school, and hearing about the technology plan for Seattle Public Schools. 

    Save the Date: Denny IMS PTSA Beach Party, May 2, 2020, 6pm  at the Highland Park Improvement Club—Auction and Games to support our Denny Dolphins!

    Amazing opportunity for 8th graders! There is a great summer program open to current 8th graders in Seattle Schools. Prepare for high school with LEEP (Lakeside Educational Enrichment Program) and if you are interested, sign up for the information session on Thursday, February 13 during 8th grade lunch. Come see Ms. Olsen in room 350 or Mr. Bolma for a pass and to sign up!

    Mental Health First Aid Training for Denny Parents and Community Members: The purpose of the training is for us to become more familiar with the signs and symptoms of a mental health need in students between the ages of 12 – 18.  Ms. Petrie has trained the Denny teachers and staff on this curriculum and is now available to train parents .  The NEW date is Wednesday, February 19th, from 8:00AM – 4:30PM.  The cost is $20 for the materials and is payable at the training.  Scholarships are also available if needed.  Please contact Ms. Petrie at 206-252-8992 or for more information or to register for the class.

    Girls Interested in Volleyball: Informational meeting on Thursday, February 13th, after school in Mr. Gutierrez’ room, #134.  You will be able to pick up paperwork for registration and physicals.  The meeting should last about 30 min.  Make sure you have a proper way to get home.  If you are not able to make it, Mr. Lai will have paperwork in his room, #132.
